Small Steps - for children ages 2 - 10 years old

This is a critical stage in the development of children with Down syndrome who may need extra therapies and interventions.  These programs are aimed at providing access to information and resources, networking with other families that have children in similar developmental stages, as well as meeting the needs of our community.

Behavior Workshop

Stacy Taylor, owner/operator of Advance Behavior and Learning Academy presents Behavior Basics, Toilet Training Tips and Tricks, and Benefits of Being Busy: Strategies to Promote Positive Behaviors.  Register for one or all three sessions.

Small Steps Therapy Program

5:30-7:00pm

4th Wednesday of each month at the Collinsville Activity Center

3rd Thursday of each month at the DSAGSL Office in Brentwood

January 2023 – May 2023

Activities include music time with Midwest Music Therapy, gross motor exercises with Special Olympics Young Athletes program, and more!  This program is for children with Down syndrome ages 3-8 years old. Spots are limited and registration is required.

 

Let's Play Monthly Meetups

3rd Saturday Every Month from 3:00-5:00pm

This community group is for littles around ages 2-8 years old and their families.  They meet every month at a different location in the DSAGSL service area.  Here are some upcoming events!  

  • FEB 18: Activities at DSAGSL Office in Brentwood, MO
  • MAR 18: Jump around at Playtime Party Center in Wentzville, MO
  • APR 15: Park Play at Gordon Moore Park (fenced-in) Inclusive Playground in Alton, IL
  • MAY 20: Play, learn, and ride the train at the Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, MO
