Small Steps - for children ages 2 - 10 years old

This is a critical stage in the development of children with Down syndrome who may need extra therapies and interventions.  These programs are aimed at providing access to information and resources, networking with other families that have children in similar developmental stages, as well as meeting the needs of our community.

Therapeutic Playgroups

Small Steps Therapy Program

5:30-7:00pm

3rd Tuesday of each month at the Collinsville Library Blum House 

3rd Thursday of each month at the DSAGSL Office in Brentwood

September 2022-December 2022

Activities include music time with Midwest Music Therapy, gross motor exercises with Special Olympics Young Athletes program, and more!  This program is for children with Down syndrome ages 3-8 years old. Spots are limited.

Down Syndrome Education Specialist Program

This program is for educators and parents to provide them with information, resources, and tools to create a meaningful educational experience for students with Down syndrome.

Infant Massage Workshop

September 28 from 9:00-10:00am on Zoom

If you are pregnant or have a child under age 5, join us for this free introductory class!  You will learn the benefits of infant massage and receive some guided instruction on how to massage you baby.  Registration is required.
