Down Syndrome Education Specialist
DSAGSL offers programs that work with Education Professionals & families in an effort to provide individuals with Down syndrome the best possible education in whichever school they find is best for them. Our mission is to be the leading resource on Down syndrome in the community, not just for families but also for educators.
We are proud to offer the Down Syndrome Education Specialist Program! This Partnership Program is a joint effort between greater St. Louis area schools, agencies, parents and the DSAGSL. The goal of the partnership is to provide support for educators, parents and professionals seeking to build a meaningful education for students with Down syndrome.
Information regarding the 2021-22 School Year Program is not yet available. DSAGSL is working on a possible in-person/virtual hybrid version of the course that may be available soon. Check back soon for updates, and email Andi@dsagsl.org with any questions.
This program provides important training for educators who want to create a meaningful educational environment for their student with Down syndrome. Please encourage your child’s teachers to register for this course! There is no cost to attend.
DSAGSL offers a Down Syndrome Education Specialist Summer Program at the DSAGSL Office.
The Summer 2020 program was cancelled, and information about Summer 2021 is not yet available.
