Early Childhood Programs

This is a critical stage in the development of children with Down syndrome who may need extra therapies and interventions.  These programs are aimed at providing access to information and resources, networking with other families that have children in similar developmental stages, as well as meeting the needs of our community.

Let's Play Monthly Meetups

Once Each Month on Saturday Afternoon

This community group is for littles around ages 2-8 years old and their families.  They meet every month at a different location in the DSAGSL service area.  Here are some upcoming events!  

MAY 20 | 2-4pm: Play, learn and ride the train at the Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, MO.  It’s free for the whole family!

JUNE 24 | 3-5pm: Splash around with other DSAGSL families at the Alton IL Splash Pad | 1 Riverfront Drive, Alton, IL 

JULY 22 | 3-5pm: Come cool off, picnic, and shake those wiggles out at Veterans Tribute Park! | 1031 Kisker Road, St. Charles, MO 

Small Steps Therapy Program

5:30-7:00pm

4th Wednesday of each month at the Collinsville Activity Center

3rd Thursday of each month at the DSAGSL Office in Brentwood

January 2023 – May 2023

Activities include music time with Midwest Music Therapy, gross motor exercises with Special Olympics Young Athletes program, and more!  This program is for children with Down syndrome ages 3-8 years old. Spots are limited and registration is required.
