Early Childhood Programs

This is a critical stage in the development of children with Down syndrome who may need extra therapies and interventions.  These programs are aimed at providing access to information and resources, networking with other families that have children in similar developmental stages, as well as meeting the needs of our community.

Small Steps SUMMER CAMP Program​

Come join us for Small Steps Summer Program 2024!

Parents can drop off their child or stay and enjoy the activities!  Each session will start with music from Midwest Music Therapy, followed by activities led by the OT, PT and SLP team at SSM Health!  This program is for children with Down syndrome, ages 3-8 years old.

Summer Camp will be on Thursdays at the DSAGSL from 9:30am – 12:00pm, for the following 8-weeks: 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1 and 8/8. 

Camp will be closed on July 4th.

Let's Play Monthly Meetups

Once Each Month on Saturday Afternoons

This community group is for littles around ages 2-12 years old and their families.  They meet every month at a different location throughout Missouri and Illinois.  Meetup locations include parks, splash pads, museums, the zoo, the movies, or even a pumpkin patch!  Follow the Let’s Play Group on Facebook to learn about upcoming events!
