Dogs & Strollers

Dogs that are on leashes and strollers are allowed. We just request that you lineup at the back of the start so as not to impede the runners.
Out of respect for our individuals with Down Syndrome who have a fear of dogs we ask that you do not bring your furry friends into the Step Up for Down Syndrome celebration following the race. Thank you for understanding!

All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast

Runners and walkers will enjoy unlimited Chris Cakes pancakes after the race!  Keep your plate and just head up to the line for more when you’re ready.  A great way to replenish your energy after a big run!

History of Run for 21

The Run for 21 (formerly Relay and Run for 21) celebrates the amazing lives of people with Down syndrome. The race coincides with our largest celebration of the year – Step Up for Down Syndrome. This year, due to unique circumstances, we will be doing everything virtually. All proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis and DADS Community Outreach Fund.

Relay and Run for 21 was started by the amazing Marvin Family nine years ago. Thank you so much to the Marvin Family and Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (DADS St. Louis) for their tireless efforts to make the Relay and Run for 21 an amazing event. The DSAGSL is honored to host this run and continue to see it raise awareness for Down syndrome

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Run for 21 virtual race has several great sponsorship opportunities.  Outreach will be not only to participants of the Run for 21 event, but also to all those attending Step Up for Down Syndrome virtual event.
