Community Awareness Ambassadors
Our trained parent, professional and self-advocate ambassadors are ready and willing to come present current information on Down syndrome and Ability Awareness. Contact the DSAGSL at email@example.com to schedule a speaker for your school or organization or to become a trained speaker yourself!
In addition to our ongoing recreational and educational programs, we are also continuing our self-determination and advocacy group, “Self-Advocates for Greater Experiences (SAGE).” This is a very unique group begun in order to give self-advocates leadership training and experience. It is also a self-directed social group in which members plan and participate in activities that they choose. To sign up, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, 314-961-2504.
Our Toastmasters group is a great way to improve public speaking skills, build confidence, make friends and enhance professional skills. Teens and adults of all abilities can join our inclusive, welcoming club. We have four meeting times and locations to choose from! To learn more, contact Erin at email@example.com.
