Education Specialist Program
The DSAGSL is proud to highlight our Education Specialist Program! The Down Syndrome Education Specialist Partnership Program is a joint effort between greater St. Louis area schools, agencies, parents and the DSAGSL. The goal of the partnership is to provide support for educators, parents and professionals seeking to build a meaningful education for students with Down syndrome. This FREE four-part workshop begins in September and provides 20 hours of meaningful training as well as continuing education units.
Our trained parent, professional and self-advocate ambassadors are ready and willing to come present current information on Down syndrome and Ability Awareness. Contact the DSAGSL at email@example.com to schedule a speaker for your school or organization or to become a trained speaker yourself!
Our Toastmasters group is a great way to improve public speaking skills, build confidence, make friends and enhance professional skills. Teens and adults of all abilities can join our inclusive, welcoming club. Toastmasters meets the first Tuesday of every month from 4:30 – 6pm at the DSAGSL office. Come and check us out! To learn more, contact Erin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
