Ways to Help at the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis

Thank you so much for your interest in supporting DSAGSL!  We are so fortunate to have so many generous, kind hearted people in our community that want to help.  The great news is, there are many of ways to get involved!

Donate- The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis relies on contributions from the community to sustain vital programs and services that benefit the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the Greater St. Louis area.  And there is more work to be done.  In order to grow programming and reach more families, we need your help!  Every dollar counts toward the mission of benefiting the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families through education, support, public awareness, and advocacy.

Become a DSAGSL Champion of Change honor a loved one, dedicate your birthday, or host your own fun event with a personal fundraising page.  Here’s a list of ideas to get you started!

 

You can also honor your loved one with a Legacy Wall Tile hung on the Calamia & Reineri Legacy Wall.  Email barbara@dsagsl.org if you’re interested in a legacy wall tile.

 

Third Party Fundraisers and Item Drives- Have a creative idea for raising money or collecting items for DSAGSL?  Learn more about starting a fundraiser to benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis here!

Volunteer- Our volunteers are a valuable part of our community and without the many generous individuals who regularly give their time, our programs and events would not be successful. We offer a wide range of one-time, short term, and long term opportunities for both individuals and groups.

Internship Opportunities- The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis has multiple opportunities each semester for students.  An internship at DSAGSL allows students to gain hands on experience working in a non-profit organization.  Learn more and apply for a position to become part of the DSAGSL team.

Young Friends Board-  Are you a young professional that wants to get more involved with a non-profit organization?  The DSAGSL Young Friends Board may be a good fit for you!  Be a part of a team that plans fun social events for people of all abilities, helps DSAGSL raise funds for vital programs and services, and meet other young professionals who find meaning in service.
