There are many ways you can help support the families of the DSAGSL.
Donate, volunteer or find an event to take part in – it’s up to you! No matter how you want to get involved, we want to help you do it.
We offer multiple volunteer opportunities throughout the year for students or adults, including event and office help opportunities. You can get your friends, neighbors, family – anyone – involved in making a difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.
If you would rather make a donation, we make it simple. Choose to donate online, through the mail or in our office. You decide! No matter how you want to help, the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Saint Louis thanks you!

Other ways to give
Our Friends for All Seasons calendar is a DSAGSL tradition and brings together many of the families in our community for calendar photo shoots. Calendar photo sessions are a collaboration of DSAGSL along with multiple generous area photographers who donate their time to photograph our families.
Each photo session is 30 minutes long and focused on the individual with Down syndrome, although the photographers are also happy to take family portraits.
2014 calendar photo session sign ups are now closed. If you have questions, please call the office at 314.961.2504. In the meantime, check out our lineup of amazing photographers below:
Our awareness bracelets are designed to further awareness of Down syndrome, also referred to as Trisomy 21 because there are three copies of chromosome 21 instead of the typical two. In this bracelet, the 21st chromosome is represented by the 21 mother-of-pearl beads, and the three copies of this chromosome are signified by the pink, blue and green Swarovski crystals.
The heart charm symbolizes love – a love as unique and powerful as each individual with Down syndrome and reminds us that all people deserve compassion, love and an opportunity to show their abilities.
Each bracelet is hand made by the DSAGSL and costs $25.00. All proceeds from the sale of the bracelets will be used to educate our communities and implement programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families via the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
For information on purchasing a bracelet for you or as a very special gift for someone you love, please contact the DSAGSL at info@dsagsl.org or 314.961.2504.
